THE DIABLEROS

10pm | PWYC | rock + indie

this ultra-hip toronto indie quintet play sly and angsty tunes. there’s a slight overtone of surf rock in there with a touch of bowie. the buzz about these guys is that they put on a killer live set.

DONOVAN WOODS + andrew austin

9:30pm | PWYC | folk + indie

i throw on his cd whenever i do dishes, which isn’t to say that it’s just music to wash dishes to. he’s a full-blown awesome songwriter with understated but elegant composition and truly cathartic lyrics.
