LONDON POETRY SLAM SEMI FINALS | tuesday may 27th
registration from 7 - 7:45 | slam at 8 sharp | $5
the last tuesday of every month we host london’s only poetry slam. poets are judged on performance and content. all styles welcome.
this tuesday will be a semi-finals of sorts, where anyone who is both interested in being on the team and committed to rehearsals, fundraising, and attending CFSW in calgary in november can compete. the winner of the may 27 slam will be guaranteed a spot on the tri-city team. the 2nd and 3rd place finishers will move on to compete in the ontario slamboree slam in toronto on June 28 against folks from windsor and peterborough to fill the remaining spot on the team (plus the alternate spot).
the slam is followed, as always, by our intrepid music-nerd dj duo beat connection! dance to their impeccable jams and achieve a transcendental state of being.
